Zakat Al Fitr Packs
Zakat ul-Fitr, Fitrana or Fitrah, is a form of charity given to the poor at the end of Ramadan. Fitra is a gift of food or money that each adult pays towards the end of the month of Ramadan before the Eid-ul-fitr prayer. Fitr is $15 per person in the household to be paid quick and easy with an online donation.
Who should pay Fitr?
Fitra is a duty which is Waajib (mandatory) on every Muslim, whether male or female, minor or adult as long as he/she has the means to do so.
Whom it should be given to?
Fitra should be given to families, widows and orphans that deserve it. As Sadaqa Welfare Fund we will collect your Fitra payments and organise Fitr Packs for the distribution to the needy in Syria.
Where will my Fitrana go?
Your Fitrana will go directly to Syrian families living in refugee camps. Our Fitr pack inlcudes 12kg of essential food items. We will feed the poor and needy families with your generous donations by paying your Fitr online.
